Don't confuse First Fret with Don't Fret This is a First Fret not a Don't Fret This does not go above first position nor mark half steps. That may be what you want. But I wanted this only for upper positions and this was the wrong product.

starsexelent for beginners if a bit pricy

This is a serious aid in helping me learn to play as there is no one around that can put on fingerboard tape for me so this was measured in advanced so all i needed to do was peal and stick. I did find it a little annoying to apply to be honest but after about 5 minutes had it on strings tuned and ready to go. though i still have a small air bubble near the top it does not interfere with anything as it is a place the string will never touch. I did find this product to be just a little pricy for

Since I recently started playing the violin, I have found this helpful. The only that would make it better would be if the lines were raised as they are sometimes difficult to see.

Not good. Difficult to put and if sticker is removed, it rips the paint from fingerboard of violin. It messed up my violin's fingerboard paint. Better to used dots instead from craft store.
