A gooey, sticky mess. I wanted to like it but after only a week spent nearly two hours both removing the mess with orange cleaner and restringing my violin. I then put a piece of tape to mark across A, E, B and F# but within days took that off too. I realized that the struggle for proper intonation and the resulting frustration are inescapable parts of the learning curve. I might as well start sooner rather than later. Now, I didn't realize it was one piece (well, each section is perforated) so I ordered two of the same size thinking I could remove each strip and use it for my daughters much smaller violin. Surprise to me when the package came in but I am not a quitter! I simply cut the strips and found the corresponding note. Let me say, it easily comes off without any residue if you mess up!
I have no idea what this was supposed to achieve. I followed the (poorly xeroxed) instructions as best I could, loosened the strings attached the sticker and re-tuned. I was concerned because My original tape markings were already off from what was shown on the don't fret but I adjusted the length and worked with the guidelines on the sticker.
